for all of the

BOARDING - At Chalquest we offer the ultimate in personal and professional care for your dog while you are traveling on vacation, in transit, or on business. Our comfortable heated/air conditioned kennels include indoor/outdoor runs. Daily care includes at least two play periods in one of our securely fenced exercise areas, the largest of which is nearly one acre. (All play periods are supervised, one dog at a time.) Feeding time is with our own supply of Iams products, or you may provide your own customized diet. Your dog will be bathed and combed out on check-out day. These services are all included in our daily boarding rate.

TRAINING - The entire staff at Chalquest Kennels (both of us) are Master Instructors of guide dogs for the blind. We have experience in a variety of other dog training fields ranging from agility and tracking to water rescue and AKC Obedience Trials. We're prepared to provide you with expert, affordable assistance when you and your dog are just not on the same page, behaviorally.

GROOMING - Max leaving too much of his luxurious Collie coat on your carpet? Bruno carrying too much bay mud from his last hunting expedition, or way too much evidence of his last encounter with the neighborhood skunk? We can help.

Kennel living can be stressful for any dog. Our goal goes beyond reducing kennel stress, we want to eliminate it. In everything we do while your dog is in our care, we want your dog to feel comfortable, cared for, wanted, and loved. Our success is evident when returning canine clients race to the office to greet us like old friends. We are especially proud of our success with dogs who have had bad kennel experiences in the past, or no kennel experience in the past.
