Located in Historic Hilton Village in Newport News, VA, Spencer's Furntiture has specialized in solid American hardwood furniture for over 100 years.
Bedrooms, dining rooms, and occasional casegood furniture feature solid hardwoods such as cherry, mahogany, oak, ash, alder and maple. Hardwood brands include The World of Bob Timberlake, Colonial, Craftique, Cresent, Keller, Leisters, Lexington, Madison Square, Mobel, Statton, Phillip Reinisch and Vaughan-Bassett. We also carry hand-painted accent furniture from Stein World.
Upholstery features solid hardwood frames. Four Seasons, Friendship, Key City, King Hickory, Taylorsville, D. R. Kincaid, Overnight, and Carlton McLendon Victorian provide 8-way hand-tied coil spring construction in their sofas, loveseats, chairs and 1/2, chairs, ottomans, sectionals and other seating.
Spencer's Furniture carries premium bedding -- mattress and box springs -- made nearby in Norfolk by King Koil. These mattresses and box springs come in king, queen, full, and twin size and firm, plush, or pillow top.
Our Customers come from a very diverse geographic area. We see customers every day from the Hampton Roads, Virginia area. Places like Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Suffolk, Portsmouth, Smithfield, Hampton, Newport News, Yorktown, Gloucester, Poquoson and Williamsburg are all part of our regular delivery service area. But we don't stop there. We sell to the Eastern Shore of Virginia and the Outer Banks area in North Carolina including Elizabeth City, Nags Head, Duck, Kitty Hawk,Kill Devil Hills, Avon and Hatteras. Our truck can also be seen in areas including Charlottesville, Richmond, Fredericksburg, Northern Virginia, and the Washington D.C. Metro area.
