From The Pastor
Originally this week I was going to include some more information on our Columbarium, but because of our presentation on the finances of the parish going on this weekend I decided Id address the latter just a little bit.
We are so blessed in many ways and there is so much good stuff going on. From spreading the Word; to helping people in finding jobs; to involving youth in all kinds of ministries; to offering faith enrichment to adults and our children; to carrying out vibrant liturgies; to participating in great retreat experiences (like Christ Renews His Parish and our confirmation retreats); to involvement with sister parishes internationally, regionally and locally; to great fellowship events (we thank our own K of C that helps so much in this area); to bringing communion to our sick and homebound; to helping parishioners in need, to providing a home to scouts, AA and other groups; to comforting families facing loss; and the list goes on and on and on.
Please help support the work we do together and the great Christian witness we try to give, by reviewing and increasing your support for the parish and its operational budget.
Especially, if you have not deliberately and intentionally thought out your giving before, take the time to do so now. By the grace of God we have done great things so far. With Gods help and open, honest hearts theres so much we can still do to make each other and the world around us so much more aware of the presence of Christ.
