South River Compounding Pharmacy was established with the vision of giving patients closer, one-on-one attention and consultation than they may find at conventional pharmacies.

Pharmacists and health professionals at South River offer this personal service in several ways:

Customized Medications in our lab we can create or compound, medications without certain allergy-producing ingredients, in special dosages or in special forms so that the patient is able to take the medicine as prescribed and get the drugs benefit.

Disease Management we work in conjunction with a patients primary care practitioner to screen for certain conditions and diseases, and to undertake a plan of care that can include diet planning, exercise, natural vitamins or supplements, customized medications, and regular consultation with a pharmacist or health professional.

General Consultation many consumers and patients purchase over-the-counter products or natural vitamins and supplements without understanding the guidelines for use or possible risks. Our staff provides detailed consultation on which supplements and vitamins may be best for any given patient.

In addition to preparing customized medications to meet each individuals specific needs, South River also offers a complete line of Nutritional Supplements and Natural Herbal Medicines.

We believe in maintaining wellness and preventative medicine. Therefore, we offer a number of screenings that can detect problems at an early stage, or be used to monitor therapy.
