In the heart of old town Leesburg, Madeleine Sosnitsky has created a treasure, and you are the lucky one to have experienced the riches of the treasure if you have had the opportunity to dine at the Eiffel Tower Café on Loudoun street. This is a real French restaurant in Loudoun County!

Madeleine came to the Washington area from Paris 30 years ago and has been creating French culinary delights ever since.
Madeleine worked for 11 years at the famous "Sans Souci" restaurant in Washington before she created the Vienna landmark "Pierre et Madeleine." For 17 years they have delighted customers with their fare and they were regularly praised in publications like the Washington Post. Many famous people have spent an evening savoring their creations.
For some time, the Sosnitskys have had a crush on Leesburg. The town reminded them of the south of France. They felt that Leesburg was a friendly town that was brimming with charm and history. In early 1998, they were drawn to buy their current location and open the Eiffel Tower Café.

Eiffel Tower Café changes its menu every season and there are always different specials available. Masterpieces are made out of prime products such as lobster, beef, poultry, fish and of course escargots.
Their desserts are almost too beautiful to eat, crème brulee and chocolate financier, a favorite among customers.
There is something here to please any taste.
Madeleine treats her customers the way she would want to be treated, and it shows in the large following of loyal customers who come from all over to dine with her.

Madeleine has created a haven of tranquility here in Leesburg. The décor calms and soothes. But do not expect to be bored. On the weekends you may be serenaded by an exquisite French singer or entertained by a jazz band and let us not forget the accordion player who has a fabulous memory for songs of past years. Most of all, credit must go to Madeleine who is a one-woman powerhouse.
She is exceptional. Charming, gracious, everywhere at once, making sure that your visit to the Eiffel Tower Café is memorable. We are lucky to have the very best of Paris right here on our doorstep.
Not only is the food satisfying but so is the décor. Throughout the restaurant you will find pictures that were painted by Madeleine's father, and for those who want a little extra, there is even a ghost that is said to live in the dining room upstairs. He was a young civil war soldier. He is quite harmless, so no need to fear.

The Eiffel Tower Café has an outside patio and upstairs deck where you can dine, weather permitting, as well as having several private dining rooms available for parties, a specialty of the Eiffel Tower Café. Reservations are suggested but walk-ins are always welcome. Dress code at Eiffel Tower Café is nicely casual. A: Eiffel Tower Café
… So I head to the Eiffel Tower Café in Leesburg where the… service is impeccable and the setting is pure historic district. The white wooden antebellum house on West Loudoun Street forms the backdrop for an enclave of 11 tables (six are large enough for four or five people, six really good friends)…the food is unmatched… Chef Gregory Canizzaro hails from Paris. His repertoire runs from very French to steak and potatoes. But steak and potatoes with a very French flair. Portions are not nouveau. They’re American style.
Menu choices run the gamut from beef and chicken to lamb and veal and pork, to salmon, shellfish, sea scallops and rockfish. Desserts are properly sinful.
A perfect afternoon getaway. Knock off work early, go to the café and order some sauvignon blanc and while away the afternoon with some mango sorbet, or warm chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream and raspberry coulis.

The Eiffel Tower Café isn’t really a café, but it isn’t exactly your typical restaurant either. Unlike the other high end restaurants that populate Leesburg, which usually serve some variety of southern or colonial food, the Eiffel Tower is unique in its unapologetic embrace of all things French. Hidden away in a non-descript white house in the historic district, it may be one of the town’s best kept secrets…
The real star here is the food. With meals ranging from seafood to steak, a plethora of chocolate desserts and a top notch wine list, the Eiffel tower café is a gourmand’s (or avid amateur’s) dream.
