International Culture & Diversity Celebration

Members of the Chinese, Korean, Hispanic, International and Vietnamese Forums are invited to attend our Year-End Cultural Celebration.
Join participants in a day of networking, and learn from NVAR CEO Christine Todd, "Why Homeownership Matters."

As part of the Cultural Celebration, we will have a terrific lunch with respresentation from the Chinese, Hispanic, Korean, and Vietnamese cuisines. Additionally, we invite all members to bring a dish to share from their country of origin. Christine Todd will be embracing her Ukrainian heritage by sharing her famous perogies.

Attire: Members are invited to dress according to their cultural heritage. A prize will be offered for those who participate!

DPOR Random Inspections Have Begun - Is Your Firm In Compliance?

According to the Virginia Real Estate Board, DPOR's Compliance and Investigations Division is going to begin random inspections of Virginia real estate firms in November. The primary goal is to ensure that firms comply with Board regulations. Inspectors will check the status of escrow accounts, verify licenses and make sure financial records are in order. Firms that are randomly selected will be notified in advance, allowing time to prepare. Scroll to page 6 of VREB's newsletter for more information.
