The mission of the Cuppett Performing Arts Center is to continue our long-standing tradition of providing every one of our students with the highest-quality dance instruction, in a manner that caters to each individual's ability, in a positive and inspiring learning environment.

Founder and Artistic Director Alzine Cuppett received her early dance training from Gene Kelly, and later was a Rockette at Radio City Music Hall in New York. With her daughters and other family members, she has made Cuppett's a true family business. From the earliest days when the studio was in her Vienna home, the Cuppett Performing Arts Center has maintained that family-friendly atmosphere.
Daily dance classes for children and adults are offered in four professionally-equipped studios conveniently located in downtown Vienna just behind Whole Foods Market, in the beautifully remodeled Park Plaza Center. We offer a wide variety of classes from the beginner/recreational student to the more serious professional-level dancer. Classes include ballet in the Russian and Italian (Cecchetti) methods, including pointe, as well as tap, jazz, modern, character, lyrical, hip hop, acro-dance and musical theatre. Professional certifications include Dance Masters of America, the Cecchetti Council of America, and Rockette Alumnae.
