For over eighty years Service Today W.E. Brown, Inc. has been a leading supplier of heating, ventilating, air conditioning, electrical and plumbing services in Central Virginia.

Mr. W. E. Brown, our founder, first "picked up his tools" and started as a plumber's apprentice in 1916. In 1924, W.E. Brown founded the Company. He is said to have held the oldest active Master Plumbers license (dated September 1924) in the City of Charlottesville during his career.

Since then the Company has evolved from a plumbing company into a full service mechanical, electrical and plumbing contractor.

Today, his daughter and grandson continue Mr. Brown's simple motto of "helpful service". Under their leadership the Company has expanded to over 75 employees with a fleet of 50 vehicles serving not only Charlottesville and Albemarle County but also the counties of Nelson, Louisa, Greene, Orange, Fluvanna, Buckingham and portions of Culpeper.

We are a heating, air conditioning, plumbing and electrical contracting company serving the custom residential, light commercial new construction and renovation and commercial markets in the Central Virgina Area.

We have a Residental and Commercial Service department providing 24-hour emergency service for your heating, air conditioning and electical requirements.

We offer a variety of Service Agreements for your Heating, Air Conditioning, Plumbing and Electrical needs. Our goal with these services is to improve your comfort level and reduce your operating costs.
