Red Brook Lumber was established in 1978 on Red Brook Farm in Albermarle County Virginia. Back then most of our work consisted of building cabinets with hardwood plywoods and fermica tops. Today we can offer almost any kind of woodwork. We manage over 100 acres of forest and salvage log windfall as well as planting for the future. We offer SFI CERTIFIED lumber in most species as well as reclaimed lumber and flooring from dismantled buildings. We can take your logs or our and turn them into lumber as well as kiln drying and milling flooring from your own trees. Not only do we offer manufacturing at our location but we also offer a wide range of wood or composite materials. Check our Lumber list for these items. We work with a local portable sawmill and mill lots of local wood like poplar, oak, locust, unsteamed walnut, cherry, pine, maple, eastern cedar, ash, hickory, holly, birch, beech, gum, pavlonia, elm, white pine, all of which is harvested localy according to SFI CERTIFIED standards.
