We design and create web sites that are online representations of your business or organization.
We maintain those web sites, or create them so our clients can do the maintenance themselves.
We construct web sites designed by other graphic designers.
We host many of the web sites we create, and many for other site creators, too. Sometimes we update sites created by other designers.
We help those web sites get found in search engines.
We make Flash movies and slide shows and little cool fancy things that enhance the look of your site and make viewers go "wow".
We connect databases to online forms and search features and things so our clients' web sites can function like their clients want them to function.
We listen to music all day long while we work and sing and whistle and sometimes dance with Otis and Spencer, the office howlers.

Does anyone really know who they are?
Howl'n Dog Designs has been designing web sites since 1995, and growing and learning and improving ever since.
Beth Garst started the business. Her educational background is fine art and art history. Web site design is considered a reasonable career path for an art history major. She and her husband Barry Briggs, owner of Web Transitions, the power behind all the database programming, live on a farm in Boones Mill, where they raise chickens, grow vegetables and sit on the porch whenever possible.
John Quesenberry has been with Howl'n Dog since 1998 (dang!), coming from an ad agency in New York City. He is the ever-morphing creator of twitchy and impressive code, never balking at a challenge. Not only does he bring his creativity, curiosity and "never say never" attitude to our office, but faithful dogs Otis and Spencer as well.
