Any serious student of the Civil War eventually passes through here. The Civil War Round Table meets once a month at the Virginia Military Institute. VMI and Washington & Lee University host numerous cultural activities throughout the year. Lexington offers the sophistication of a larger urban area with a compelling, small town setting.
