Turner's Building, Inc. began in 1976 with a vision: "to offer a quality product with the best materials available, outstanding craftsmanship, on time start/finish dates, product reliability, reasonable prices, and best of all, a guarantee of follow-up service and dependability." In the 25 years since, our reputation has become that vision.

Turner's Building is the largest and most recognized name on Smith Mountain Lake for superior design, construction and overall quality of first rate docking facilities. Residential docks make up approximately 70 % of our workload with each job receiving the ultimate attention to detail and individual needs. Some of Smith Mountain Lake's most upscale communities are

enhanced by our larger commercial projects, such as Shoreline Marina, Waverly, Water's Edge Marina, Golfer's Crossing, The Waterfront, Boardwalk and Smith Mountain Lake State Park.

Turner's Building can offer the most experienced personnel on the lake as 10 of our employees have been with us over l5 years, and that means you, the customer, get the benefit of all that experience. Our 20 employees have 242 years of combined dock building experience and are dedicated to giving you a product you can proudly display and feel satisfied that you received what you envisioned. Our reputation depends on your satisfaction and if history holds true, most of our work comes from word-of-mouth and not advertisements.
