October 31, November 7 and 14 are our annual Mission’s Emphasis Sundays. We will be seeing several of our missionaries during this time and they will be talking to us about where and what the Lord has led them to in the mission field. Come meet our missionaries!
Annual Christmas Card Decorating Workshop for Troop and Prisoners Sunday, November 7, starting at 1:00 pm, Room 200
Sponsored by the NCF Christian Artist's Fellowship
Once again, we will be hand-decorating cards to send to incarcerated prisoners and to active duty servicemen and women around the world. This event is a family event, for adults and children who are old enough to design, decorate, sign, and address a card. We will provide the card materials, instructions, and an assortment of art supplies,
although everyone is invited to bring additional materials to use themselves or to share with others.
Four Ways to Get Involved with Operation Turkey
1. Donate Food: stuffing, canned fruit, gravy, canned vegetables, cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes, cornbread/muffin mix, canned pumpkin, potatoes, Bisquick, rice, cream soups, pasta and sauces, coffee/tea/cocoa, boxed desserts, applesauce, peanut butter and jelly, sugar. Food can be brought to the NCF worship center until November
2. Make a Donation to SERVE, a program of NVFS (suggested donation: $50). Please make checks payable to "SERVE/NVFS" and write "Operation Turkey" on the memo line, and send to SERVE/NVFS, 10056 Dean Drive, Manassas, VA 20110.
3. Donate Grocery Store Cards ($10 increments). Shoppers Food cards are preferred - they limit purchases to food only. Send or deliver to SERVE/NVFS, 10056 Dean Drive, Manassas, VA 20110 or give to Brenda Amodea.
4. Sort food at the Operation Turkey location. RIOT will be doing a shift on Friday, November 19, starting at 1 p.m. Come join us anytime that afternoon til 6 p.m.! The location is 8225 Barrett Avenue, Manassas.

RIOT Will be Participating in Wreaths Across America
