Sterling Yoga Center is one of many teaching facilities of the 3HO Foundation, a non-profit international organization. 3HO helps people improve their lives with Kundalini Yoga, the Yoga of Awareness as taught by Yogi Bhajan Kundalini Yoga is an ancient system using postures, Kundalini Yoga is an ancient system using postures, exercises, breathing and sound to integrate and balance body, mind and spirit. Yoga means unity. Use it to experience your own infinity! Classes include breath work, dynamic yoga, guided relaxation and meditation.
Please come to class a few minutes early, so you have time to settle in before class begins.
Please wear modest clothes that are easy to move in. There are bathrooms for changing clothes, etc. Avoid eating for at least an hour before class. There is filtered water in the water fountains in the hall, but you might want to bring your own water so you can drink between exercises. Drinking water during class helps prevent stiffness.
The room is carpeted, but you may want to bring additional padding, like a mat or sheepskin. Also, we recommend you bring something with which to cover yourself during deep relaxation.
