The Urology Group provides the Washington Area and Northern Virginia with the finest and most up-to-date urologic care available. Our group remains focused on patient care. We make every effort to treat our patients compassionately in a comfortable setting.
Doctor-patient interaction and patient education are our strengths. We make an effort to select the most advanced urologic techniques to combine with our years of experience, and then mix in good old-fashioned bedside manner, so that we can provide the best care for our patients. We encourage you to read our patient handouts (in English and Spanish) to better understand relevant treatments and conditions. Currently, we have offices in Reston, Lansdowne, and downtown Leesburg, VA. We work at Inova Loudoun Hospital, Reston Hospital Center, and the ambulatory surgery centers in Reston and Loudoun. Two of our physicians also perform Robotic Surgery at Virginia Hospital Center.
Our office hours are 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Started in 1924, our practice has been committed to excellence for over 80 years. The founding member of our group, Dr. Reuter, was Chairman of the Urology Department at George Washington Medical School for over 20 years. He made many contributions to our specialty including the invention of a variety of instruments for use in surgery and the important discovery of the antibacterial properties of the then relatively unknown sulfa drugs.

Building on that early tradition of excellence, our group has continued to expand and grow over the years.
The tradition of innovation continues as our physicians have developed new techniques of urinary drainage and prostate cancer seed implant treatment. Doctors in our group have authored numerous papers in scientific journals and textbooks. They have lectured widely on topics including prostate cancer, benign prostatic enlargement, stone disease, testicular tumors, urinary infection and urinary incontinence.
They serve as clinical teachers for urology residents at Georgetown and family medicine residents associated with the Medical College of Virginia. Our members have been recognized by their medical peers - doctors in our group have served as the Chairman of Urology, Chairman of Surgery, and President of the Medical Staff at some of our affiliated hospitals.

Our group looks forward to continuing advancement and growth in the future. Exciting innovations develop daily in urology, and we look forward to continuing to deliver the best possible care to our patients.
In 2007, we made the transition to electronic medical records. In keeping with our tradition of innovation, we were in the vanguard of medical groups switching to electronic records. For new patients, you can download necessary forms prior to your initial visit so that you can complete these forms at your own convenience and bring them with you to your visit.
