Emergency Veterinary Services
Our emergency veterinary technicians, nurses and veterinarians are on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Pender’s emergency veterinary centre treats both domestic and exotic companion animals when they require immediate attention, and provides a number of urgent procedures ranging from emergency veterinary surgeries to treatments for minor cuts and lacerations.

The Pender Pet Caring Foundation is a nonprofit, philanthropic organization focusing on improving veterinary care through research and extending animal care to pets in need. Through supporting medical research, pet adoption programs and the treatment of sick or injured strays and indigent animals, the Pender Pet Caring Foundation seeks to improve and expand upon developments in animal care.

Veterinary Training Program
The Pender Development Institute is where veterinarians, practice managers, technicians and nurses can receive additional online or in-house training and support for their careers in veterinary medicine.
