The Barry Robinson Center (BRC) is a private, non-profit, behavioral healthcare organization dedicated to serving the needs of emotionally and behaviorally disturbed children and adolescents ages 6-18 in its 72 bed residential treatment facility. BRC also offers community based programs and services. BRC's programs include:
These programs and services enable BRC to provide a caring, client centered treatment approach in the least restrictive setting by stepping up or down the services needed to address the child's current emotional needs.
The Barry Robinson Center combines modern residential facilities with several of the original colonial-style buildings dating from 1933. This combination makes it one of the most beautiful and unique residential treatment centers in the region. Our 32-acre wooded campus is conveniently located on the border of Norfolk and Virginia Beach.
The Barry Robinson Center's Local Human Rights Committee will meet at 8:30a.m. on January 22nd, April 23rd, July 23rd and October 24th, 2010 in the Administration Building.
