Dr. Carl M. Block's personal and professional philosophy is to always provide the highest quality of care for his patients. This means that he carefully examines each patient's individual health needs, and attends to his or her specific concerns. As there can only be one correct diagnosis, there may be several options for treatment in which he and his staff will help you to make an informed decision.
We are pleased to announce that effective December 11, 2008 our practice became accredited by The Joint Commission on Accredited Healthcare Organizations. We were the first and are currently the only periodontal practice in the United States and only one of three in the country in dentistry with this elite type of accreditation.

Additionally, we are pleased to announce that our office is now enhancing treatment planning and patient care witht the addition of advanced 3-D digital imaging technology. With a quick scan Dr. Block can now view enhanced images of a patients anatomy allowing him to accomplish a more precise evaluation for predictable treatment with shorter appointment times for patients. This 3-D dental imaging is used for implant planning, TMJ and airway analysis, orthodontic and oral surgery planning, and to detect pathology such as cysts and tumors.
