The Academy is the home of the Fredericksburg City Ballet Company.

The Academy was established in 1983 for the purpose of providing
professional training and performances
of artistic merit which would promote the cultural growth of the Fredericksburg area.
Our professional staff promises to make dance a quality experience for students at all levels, with the individual
attention and guidance needed to fulfill their dance goals.
The Academy is the home of the Fredericksburg City Ballet Company. The Company offers inspiration to young dancers and an opportunity to further the education of serious, more advanced students through special lectures, films, fieldtrips, auditions and Company Performances. When students reach the proper level of study they may be invited to become a part of the Company.
