Character Development Program
Our goal is to provide parents with an alternative to daycare, where children can focus on positive self image, goal setting and conflict resolution in an environment that is fun, exciting, educational and rewarding. We want to offer the absolute best in character development thru our unique martial arts curriculum. Our curriculum teaches children leadership, cooperation, character development and practical life skills. Our Goal: to help children discover character development through their quest for excellence. It is with great seriousness that we approach the responsibility of caring for your child and we welcome any and all participation from you, the parent, in helping to make your child's experience with us as rewarding and beneficial to his or her development as possible.
We want to provide a safe, fulfilled, loving and educational facility, working directly with local schools and, community organizations, other partners in education, and you the parent. It is our goal to make all aspects of our program educational, (that is our students are in the process of learning) beneficial (that is, our students must be able to apply the lessons learned in their daily lives), and fun.
The core of our program is taekwondo, a Korean based form of martial arts teaching self discipline, self-esteem, and self-control with in the frame work of self defense. While physical self defense is taught, the emphasis of our class is non-violent resolutions to life's obstacles. Therefore students and staff alike are encouraged and expected to utilize their self control in any situation, from avoiding potential trouble spots to walking away from conflict, to using their communication skills to talk over and resolve any outstanding issues. Physical self-defense is designed to be used as a last, life threatening resort.
Before and After School $75/week
Above Program includes early release days, teacher work days and snow days at no additional cost.
