The staff at Chafin Law Firm, a Professional Corporation, knows it is important that a law firm understand the needs and concerns of its clients. Having been born and raised in Russell County, A. Benton Chafin, Jr. shares the concerns of all citizens in Southwest Virginia.
Since the beginning, Chafin Law Firm, P.C. has expanded our legal services and our physical location. The Burns building, the three story brick structure directly across from the Russell County Courthouse, serves as our offices. Our location provides easy access to the Courthouse for our clients and staff.

The Practice Established in 1986
In 1985, A. Benton Chafin, Jr. returned to his hometown of Lebanon, Virginia to practice law after receiving his law degree from the T.C. Williams School of Law at the University of Richmond. After working as an Assistant Prosecutor for Russell County, Virginia, Benton founded his practice in 1986.

In October 2006, Martha Puckett Ketron joined Chafin Law Firm as an associate after receiving her law degee from The Norman A. Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University in Buies Creek, North Carolina. Martha, a native of Lebanon, Virginia, is excited to be home again and looks forward to serving her fellow Southwest Virginians in the practice of law.
