E. A. Clore Sons is a family owned business that has been in the Clore family since Moses Clore began making furniture in Madison, VA in 1830.
E. A. Clore Sons was listed by Family Business in the Summer 2008 issue as the 43rd oldest family company in the United States.
The Clore family has continuously produced handsome and enduring furniture in the Early American tradition since 1830. The knowledge and skills needed in making our handcrafted furniture has been passed down with pride from generation to generation. Each piece of Clore furniture is crafted to remain beautiful for years to come using techniques such as mortice-and-tenon construction and dovetailed drawers.
At E. A. Clore Sons we offer a broad selection of living room, dining room, family room, bedroom, and office furniture in durable hardwoods such as Walnut, Cherry, Oak, and Mahogany. In addition to our standard line of items we do offer custom pieces. We can produce pieces made to your specifications provided they are related to our designs and facilities.
All of our furniture is sold directly from our factory , eliminating the "middleman", and saving you money. We ship throughout the United States by a variety of methods. Much of our furniture is delivered using our own trucks and drivers, thereby ensuring that each piece arrives safely.
