Welcome to the website of Charlottesville Psychological Associates (CPA). We are Charlottesville's oldest group of private psychotherapy practitioners.
CPA consists of 11 independent psychotherapists, practicing at one centrally located address in downtown Charlottesville. Therapists in our group average over 25 years of professional experience. While our expertise is diverse, all of us at CPA strive to maintain the highest professional and ethical standards in our respective practices.
We provide the following services:

Psychotherapy for adults, children, and adolescents
Couples and marital therapy

CPA therapists work closely with area psychiatrists and physicians when medication or medical issues may be a part of treatment. We also collaborate with schools, hospitals, employee assistance programs, attorneys, and other community professionals. Because we maintain close relationships with other therapists in the area, we can also serve as a referral source so you can get the assistance you need.
