The dog days of summer are gone, school is back in session and the leaves are soon to change...
Along with the changing of the season can come changes in your pets behavior -especially for our older pets.
Dogs are often eager to please and may have kept up with your family during the summer but may now seem to be slowing down. You may have contributed your pets' increased thirst to the heat - but they may still be drinking more than usual. Your normally quiet, nap-taking kitty may be more vocal than usual and perhaps losing weight. These can all be signs of senior ailments.
At Lansdowne Animal Hospital we believe in helping you provide the best quality of life for your furry family members. We often can treat and manage many of the conditions senior animals are subject to if diagnosed early.
In September and October we will be promoting Senior Wellness with discounted pricing on a screening package. (Exam, Bloodwork, Urinalysis, Chest X-Rays, Blood Pressure Measurement).
