I have almost 40 years of collecting this kind of art behind me, the last 20 of them spent as a specialist dealer and agent...listening to artists, and making best efforts to present their works to a broader collectors marketplace.
Some of the artists I represent are self-taught, others have advanced degrees in fine art. Some are artists that would be considered mainstream, given their polished technique, if it were not for the unconventional subject matter! Some are experts at figuration and representational imagery, others would definitely be categorized as surreal, visionary, symbolist. But ALL have one thing in common....uncommon talent, because they are professionals, known world-wide for their skills.
