Through our years of experience as new home builders we have learned several things which help make a project of this magnitude go much smoother. While there is no way we can impart all of that experience to you on our website, here are a few things to think about before we get started.
House plans - look through a magazine or house book and find some of your favorites or if you already know what you want, bring your blueprints to your meeting with us.
Layout and size - square footage, number of bedrooms and bathrooms. Is it a basement or crawl space?
Colors and Types - Shingles and Siding. Brick or stone?
Location - a plat of your land and any soil and septic tests done. Note: If you haven't purchased land, let us know and we can help you find the best place for your new home.
Building Permits - check your county website for permitting requirements.
Homeowner Association Rules - many HOAs, especially around the lake, have specific rules for building homes and additions; please make sure you are aware of them and note that you will need signed approval from your HOA to obtain a building permit.

ADDITIONS: Need more space, or just want another room. Sunrooms, screened-in rooms, bedrooms or a new family room, lets us help you figure it out. POLE BUILDINGS: B&B Contractors can construct any size building you need. Store your boats cars tractors or anything. Wood frame construction with poles ,purlins, and roof trusses typically metal siding and roof with many color choices. Normally cheaper to build than standard garage and you can add lean-toos, lofts, skylights or bring your own ideas.

EXCAVATION: Have a lot on the lake or in the woods you cant use, let us help you. We can put in a driveway or a clearing so you can get to the water or camp in the woods. Need your building site cleared, septic system installed, fence row cleared or just some dirt or stone leveled off, call us. In most cases well give you a price up front.

BOATHOUSES: Wouldnt it be nice to pull your boat in, push a button and walk away? Add a boathouse and its that easy. We offer many different designs in open and enclosed elevations. Just ride around the lake and pick one.

GARAGES: Tired of iced over car windows or seats too hot to sit on. Let us help you out by adding a garage to your home or building a detached one for storage. Any size, one or two story and as many doors or windows that you need. We can sit down with you and help put your ideas on paper.
