Welcome to Stepping Stones. Until someone (or someone you love) has been diagnosed with cancer, there is no way to understand the emotional roller coaster it brings. It was a cancer diagnosis that enlightened the co-founders of Stepping Stones, Peggy Norris and Leigh Thurston
Peggy was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2002 at the healthy age of 54 with no family history. This event started her on a path that would change her life and that of those who love her. She had to go on a search for the products she needed after her mastectomy after not getting much information from her medical providers. The facilities she found were either not very private, not very feminine, didn’t offer many choices, or required her to pay out of pocket even though her health insurance provided coverage. It was then that Peggy and her daughter, Leigh, set out to create a premiere facility which encompassed everything Peggy wished her experience would have been
