The excitement is palpable at Golden Pond School -- an outstanding preschool and full day kindergarten in the heart of Loudoun County, Virginia. At Golden Pond we put the child first in a nurturing yet stimulating and fun environment where learning takes place naturally. Our approach is exploratory and hands-on. In other words, we have created an atmosphere of Joyful Learning. As our curriculum has evolved over the past few years we have been gratified to see amazing , some would say magical, results in terms of exceptional scores on the Virginia PALs tests for rising kindergarteners, early readers and higher level thinkers.
Part of the reason for our success is that we specialize in early childhood education - serving children ages two and one-half through six. All of our resources and energy is focused on this age group not being diluted by either infants and toddlers or the older children.
