Dr. Joseph R. Vilseck Jr. obtained master and doctorate degrees in microbiology, as well as a medical degree, from West Virginia University Medical Center. After graduation, Dr. Vilseck completed an internship and residency at West Virginia University Medical Center. In 1971, he completed a National Institute of Health fellowship at Duke University, where he conducted research studies in allergy, immunology and pulmonary. He then came to Richmond, Virginia, where he has been practicing medicine for over 35 years specializing in allergy, asthma, immunology, pulmonary and sinusitis.
