Im Richard Patch, the proprietor of Astonish Antique Restoration. I believe that fine antiques should be treated with the care and deference that their venerable age deserves. My company will conserve, repair, or restore your piece in accordance with the guidelines of the AIC (American Institute for Conservation of Historic & Artistic Works). I conserve, repair, or restore artifacts, furniture, and interior architectural woodwork. I use techniques that will restore the beauty of the piece and enhance its value:

Nothing non-original will be added to the piece.
Degraded finishes will be restored with the same finish material.
Glues and fastening techniques original to the period of the piece will be used.
Missing wood will be repaired with like wood from the same period, when possible.
