Building Blocks Day School is a preschool for children ages 18 months through 5 years of age. We are located in Falls Church, Virginia. We offer a quality preschool and childcare program for working parents. Each day, the children are growing and learning through a variety of enriching, engaging, and developmentally appropriate experiences.
Our focus is on the whole childs well-being and development: physical, social, emotional, and self-help skills are emphasized along with reasoning, cognitive development and pre-academics. We believe that children learn best through hands-on, meaningful experiences.
English emersion, Spanish and music enrichment are integrated daily within the program. Introductory American Sign Language is also part of the program. Building Blocks emphasizes Christian values and principles within our daily program through age-appropriate Bible stories and prayer, respect for one another and integrity.
Building Blocks Day School was founded by Mabel Espinoza and Christine Verzi. Both are devoted early childhood educators with many years of experience in both the classroom and administration.
