JOIN US FOR WORSHIP, this Sunday, October 31 at 8:00, 8:55 or 11:15 a.m. The Rev. Gavin Meek will preach a sermon entitled "Team! Team! Team" drawn from the following Scripture Lesson: I Corinthians 1:10-17, Matthew 4:18-22. Please join us for a reception following the 11:15 worship service in honor of our newest members, hosted by Presbyterian Women.
REFORMATION SUNDAY this Sunday, October 31 - Given that our Presbyterian roots can be traced back primarily to the Church of Scotland, everyone is encouraged to wear plaid, or a tartan, on Reformation Sunday; those men who have them are encouraged to wear their kilt!
SPECIAL PROGRAM - David Marotta, financial advisor and Daily Progress business columnist, will be presenting his program "Everything Is God's" for all of the adult Sunday School classes in Fellowship Hall this Sunday, October 31 at 10:15 am. All are welcome to come and hear his perspective on Stewardship.
THE MENS FELLOWSHIP LUNCHEON will be held this Tuesday, November 02, at 12:00 noon at Our Lady of Peace on Hillsdale Drive. Join us for some good food, fun and fellowship!
FREE ORGAN RECITAL in our sanctuary Tuesday, November 09, 7:30 p.m. The event, featuring guest organist Brink Bush of Providence, Rhode Island, is sponsored by The Charlottesville-Albemarle Chapter of the American Guild of Organists. Mr. Bush will play works by J. S. Bach, Schumann, and Wilhelm Middelschulte. Come enjoy the mighty Casavant in all its splendor!
