What a wonderful summer we've had so far! We're all working hard to build up the Kingdom of God. Thank you for your tireless effort through June and July!

Now its time to get ready for school! Schoolalready? Yes! In just three short weeks our teachers will be retuning to their classrooms and soon after that our halls will be filled with laughter and shuffling of children's feet. Please pray, pray and then pray again for our teachers, administration and children! I was told just the other day that a parent was giving credit to Woodlawn Christian School for the fine job his kids are now doing in the Governor's School! That's exciting!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer and making many memories with their families. Summer is one of my favorite times of the year except for the extreme temperatures and brown grass!!!! The kids love swimming in the pools and can't wait for the darknessto fall so the children cansee the lightening bugs to put them in their mason jars. Not to mention our favorite local amusement parks.Summer is down right ablast!!!!

I could use this space to provide you with a lot of statistics of men and women that Daryl and I have visited and how many came to know Christ, share testimonies and so on, but would that motivate YOU to get busy for God? In my time in the ministry I have seen a lot of folks come to know Christ as their Savior and many have a powerful testimony. I might not know their name, but God certainly does. I long for the day when we can sit down and talk of how Christ changed our lives together. But I see statistics as brag board of information that God cautions us against. Our mission in life is to share our testimony with others that we might win them to Christ. As Paul said Be ready ALWAYS to give the answer to the HOPE that is in YOU when someone asks it of you. But there is the first step that must be done before you can do that! If you have a hard time witnessing, or even feeling the hope that is in you, it is because you are not a usable vessel, you must sanctify your heart FIRST.

We are so excited in Pop's about the wonderful year God has planned for us. We are blessed to have a gifted staff of teachers forour two, three and four year olds. Our teachers this year are Mrs. Lea McMillen, Ms. Jordan Jarrett, Mrs. Rhonda Scott, and Mrs. Evelyn Connor. This is a fine group of Christian ladies that love God and children and are ready to teach.

I have decided that some things in life are worth praying for. One of these is my church. Woodlawn Baptist Church has been a part of my family's life for 47 years. It has been so good to be able to call this my church home. Because it has been such a great part of my life I feel it is worth praying for.

Woodlawn Baptist Church is not just a building. Hearts of the believers there are so dear to us.
