East Coast Stager: Creating Spaces with the Widest Appeal
East Coast Stager President Gloria Salvetti has truly mastered the art of creating spaces with the widest appeal in the most cost effective manner. In this difficult real estate market, Glorias personalized and creative techniques will make your property stand out from the rest.
About Gloria Salvetti
Gloria loves problem-solving and brilliantly mixes her sense of space, color, and design with her eye for details to create the perfect outcome. Her passion and talent is showcased by many successful projects.
While living on Nantucket Island, Gloria was surrounded by building, renovating, and decorating. Desiring a challenge, she combined her creativity and bargain hunting skills to completely renovate and decorate a basic island property. Thank you notes poured in from Glorias renters, grateful for the beauty and comfort of her home. The East Coast Stager was born.
Gloria has since assisted with the preconstruction design and staging of a loft, redecorated a church, and helped many homeowners with design and shopping needs.
Gloria began formally training her natural gift for spatial design and logical thought at Rutgers University where she earned a BA in Math. She then nurtured her artistic side by studying ceramics at Boston Universitys School of Artisanry. Gloria has taken courses in Design, Digital Photography and Ikebana (the Japanese art of flower arranging that emphasizes form and balance). Gloria is also a graduate of the Staging Diva Home Staging Business Training Program.

“Gloria has the “knack” – design sense at her finger tips. Her artist trained eye gives just the right touch to bring out the best. Putting those accents in our living room made the difference between nice and fabulous. I value Gloria’s advice highly and recommend her unequivocally.”

“Gloria was a delight to work with! Her furniture choices and carefully thought out spatial plan have made my loft a much more efficient and visually pleasing space in which to work and live.”
George P., Antique Dealer & Restoration Specialist
“Gloria started work as our Administrative Assistant. During this time, the church planned to undergo a capital campaign resulting in redecorating and renovations to the church, offices and outreach area. Gloria was the key part in making choices of colors, fabrics and furniture. I, the Pastor and parishioners are very pleased with the finished product. Through her expertise and keen sense of atmosphere, she has created areas that are functional yet exude warmth.”
Bernadette H, Church Administrator
“During a recent move Gloria’s expertise proved invaluable: she has a terrific sense of logistics and can organize and manage a major project with seamless attention to all the details, large and small; she has an amazing sense of space and how to work with it in both practical and aesthetic terms; she has the first-hand knowledge to trouble-shoot issues, whether of lighting, ventilation, movement flow, foot traffic, plumbing and wiring problems while also being extremely patient and supportive of her client’s perspective, worries, or needs.. whatever she says she’ll do, she does without fail – she’s completely reliable, and a wonderfully fun, charming and friendly person who guides you through the process and sticks with you from start to finish.”

This entertainment wall was originally designed to hold all the electronics in the one deep nook above the television. By having infrared technology installed, all stereo components were installed in an unused closet behind the wall. This freed up this area for an uncluttered artistic wall that focuses on the plasma TV as well as the gas fireplace and art pieces!
This hall bathroom became elegant and lofty by using inexpensive baskets to neatly house all linens on the shelves. Completing the look is teak shelves bought from an off-price retailer along with unused prints taken from the owner's storage area.
The wood finish of the built-in overpowered the space in this small dining room. By painting it the same color as the trim, the space now feels larger and lighter. In the after photo, the extension in the table shows available space. And by using hassocks as two of the six available chairs, they can serve multiple uses in other rooms when not needed here!
