History of Owens Carpet Cleaning
Preceding their move to Florida, Mike and Sherry Owens owned a cleaning franchise in Indianapolis, Indiana where they employed more than fifty cleaning people, four full-time supervisors, a crew of office personnel and were the largest charter within the state of Indiana. The customers that Mike and Sherry contracted consisted of high rise facilities, automotive dealerships, condominiums and various large businesses.
After the birth of their second child they decided to relocate to a warmer climate. Mike, Sherry and their two children Alli and Adam relocated to Daytona Beach, Florida. The experience they had acquired from their cleaning franchise laid the groundwork for Owens Commercial Cleaning in Daytona Beach, Florida.
They started small, as many companies do, but through perseverance they acquired a multi-facility contract with Stewart Marchman rehabilitation centers throughout Volusia and Flagler counties. In addition to maintaining the Stewart Marchman Centers, Owens Commercial Cleaning specializes in residential/commercial carpet and floor cleaning, flood damage restoration, and new construction cleaning.
In addition to operating a business, Mike and Sherry are supportive parents to their teenage children. Alli, their daughter, is an up and coming race car driver on the ARCA circuit. Adam is involved in high school sports and the center of the neighborhood children. Between business, maintaining a household and attending various race car events around the country the Owens family are usually very busy people.
