Dr. Ellenbogen is originally from New Rochelle, New York and graduated from Brown University in Providence RI and 4 years later received his dental degree from Georgetown Dental School. Upon graduating from dental school he worked for the Public Health Department for 1 year in Newport, VT performing dentistry for an underserved population.

Upon returning to the Northern Virginia, Dr. Ellenbogen worked as an associate in 2 practices before establishing his own practice. His first practice was in Falls Church, VA before settling his current practice in the Tysons Corner Area. He has been voted “Top Dentist” by Northern Virginia Magazine and several other publications over the last few years, as well as appearing on television as a dental consultant for WUSA. Dr. Ellenbogen has also been seen with the TOP Doctors Medical Interview segment broadcast on CNN, FOX News, CNBC, and MSNBC. His use of the latest technology such as cosmetic imaging, diagnostic waxups, all digital x-rays, intraoral cameras, oral cancer screening, sedation dentistry (both nitrous oxide as well as full sedation), dental implants, and Invisalign has allowed him to create beautiful, natural healthy smiles. Dr. Ellenbogen knows that all cosmetic dentists do not use the same materials nor do they use the same dental labs and lab technicians, so this is one of the many factors that separates Dr. Ellenbogen from many of his peers in Vienna, VA: his insistence upon only using the very best when it comes to supplies and master lab technicians.
