A treasure trove of gifts for all occasions
Your shopping experience at The Gift Gallery will be fun, thought-provoking, and satisfying. It is a unique store where you will find unusual products from all over the world as well as many that are made right here at home. You will be pleased with the creativity of Lois Lavery, who paints on glass and wood items you can give with confidence, knowing that the designs will be appreciated. Who would not adore a functional or decorative gift that was selected and hand painted with love? The Gift Gallery is one of very few shops to be found where you can have a special gift personalized for a child or an adult. Lois applies her own style to floral patterns, sea life, and geometric shapes. Many customers keep coming back for another piece of hand painted glassware in "their" pattern. For children, we paint a variety of decorative items for their rooms, such as growth charts, wall plaques, coat racks, stools, and mirrors.

The Gift Gallery is pleased to help couples prepare for weddings. We are the place to visit for wedding invitations and "save the date cards". We paint glassware for table decorations, personalized gifts for bridesmaids and groomsmen, and of course many lovely gifts for brides and grooms. Sometimes we make matching jewelry for the wedding. Our Wedding Registry makes it convenient for brides to indicate the gifts they really want and for friends to make informed choices.

Fair Trade products are an important feature of The Gift Gallery. Fair Trade is a term that refers to a way of doing business overseas based on certain principles of decency and fairness. Local artists are brought together and provided safe working conditions, fair wages, and the hope of improving their lot in life. Children are not forced to work-no "sweat shops". They produce wonderful, hand-crafted items that we are able to sell at reasonable prices. Everyone benefits. Our baskets, much of our jewelry, and all of our handbags are Fair Trade products made in places like Cambodia and India and Chile. Our Ellie Pooh paper products are Fair Trade, made in Sri Lanka. When you buy Fair Trade items, you are helping someone on the other side of the world to make a living, provide for his family, and have hope for the future.
