AED manufactures a complete line of Quality Fuel System Components, including ultimate carburetor kits, billet & birchwood spacers, CNC billet metering blocks & billet baseplates, replacement parts, gaskets, linkages, braided and stainless line kits, CNC billet brackets and accessories, specialty carburetor tools, and much more. All components are attractively skin packaged in multi-color layout for display. Our R&D facility consists of 3 Flowbenches, Mustang Dual Eddie Current Chassis Dyno, Superflow Engine Dyno, test engines, CAD-CAM design modeling equipment, and complete CNC machining facility. We employ the planets leading computerized "Wet-Flowbench" designed exclusively for carburetor testing. We can wet-flow carburetors measuring airflow, fuel flow, manifold vacuum, and air/fuel ratio throughout the entire RPM range. This enables us to properly match and balance fuel delivery on all throttle bores and control the metering signal and strength at all engine speeds. We have been doing extensive dyno testing in the last 2 months on Centrifugal Superchargers (Blow-Through) working on complete carburetor development. Major goals were torque, power, drivability, & reliability. From gasoline to E-85 with multiple boost levels the learning curve & results have been simply amazing. We have learned what engines want in terms of carburetion, components, & proper fuel curve at these different boost levels for the ultimate tune-up from street to racetrack. Traditional carburetion techniques fall short in many areas depending on boost levels & component selection. *E-85 News Flash: After 3 years of manufacturing carbs for E-85 we really believe this is a viable alternative to racing gas or even pump gas considering the pricing, power, & fuel properties. There is a torque & power advantage over conventional fuel & will support compression at least up to 13.1. Through testing & building over 200 E-85 carbs to date we've learned how important the proper fuel requirements & tune-up are for maximum power & drivability. Currently E-85 pricing is very similar to alcohol versions. We think E85 is going to be a real winner considering the power & pricing advantages especially once E85 becomes more readily available. Winter testing has delivered some incredible gains with our Dominator program. We have found hidden torque, additional throttle response & acceleration in the lower rpm ranges around the max-torque rpm. This modification will really help Super Class cars with throttle stops all the way to Pro-Mod engines. You can actually hear the difference.
