Upcoming Events

Music Class Open House on December 7th & 9th: This is a great opportunity to experience Mrs. Hudson's exceptional music program and see how much your children have learned in music during these first few months of the school year. We hope you will all join us at your child's Open House. Please refer to the flyer or email for the specific time and day for your child, or call the office and we will assist you.

Recurring: Board Meetings are scheduled for the third Monday of the month (and moved to the fourth Monday when the third Monday falls on a holiday.) Some months are skipped for Committee Meetings. Please see calendar for specific dates and times.

Recent Events

MCS in the Reston Town Center Parade: Thank you to the many families, including a few recent alumni,who came out torepesent MCSin the Reston Holiday Parade on Friday, November 26th!! What a great morning - cold & windy, but for the most part the rain stayed at bay. Not only do the children enjoy carrying the school's banner & flags,and seeing friends & other MCS families in the crowd - but it really is a nice way to let the community know/remind themabout our school and it's exceptional educational experience.
Friday, November 19th Thanksgiving happenings at MCS included Mrs. Mills' Thanksgiving Play and Mrs. Peebles' and Mrs. Akbars' joint feast. All our MCS students had the chance to see the play as the audiance for the dress rehearsal earlier in the day. In the afternoon, parents and siblings joined the Kindergarten classes for their Thanksgiving events. Thank you to all the families that helped with the preparations and joined us for the festivities!
