Jerome H. Gress is an attorney in Lovingston, Virginia. He concentrates on criminal defense (including traffic offenses and DUI), juvenile law, wills, domestic relations, business law, and civil litigation. He began his legal career with Barton, Baker, McMahon, Hildebrant & Tolle, LLP, in McLean, Virginia, where his practice focused on government contracts law.
In addition to these practice areas, Mr. Gress has represented individuals who have been denied U.S. government security clearances and veterans and surviving spouses veterans who have been denied benefits by the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Mr. Gress received his bachelor's degree in accounting from The Catholic University of America, a Master of Science in Systems Management from Murray State University, and his law degree from George Mason University.
He is admitted to practice in all state courts in Virginia. He is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia and the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims.
Mr. Gress is a U.S. Army veteran, having served as an infantry officer with the 101st Airborne Division, various Army Reserve units, and the Virginia Army National Guard.

I provide a no cost consultation of approximately 30 minutes to discuss your legal issues. My office hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

I provide some services on a flat fee basis and others on an hourly rate. Generally, criminal cases and DUI defense are charges at a flat rate. Civil litigation and domestic relations matters will be billed on an hourly rate. I will discuss my fee arrangements during the initial consultation.
