The Savvy Sleeper is a premium mattress store in Central Virginia just outside of Charlottesville. We sincerely believe that we have the best mattress for just about everyone.

Savvy Rest organic mattresses were designed by us to meet our specific criteria. Having a mattress we could call organic was not enough. Everyone is a little different, so Savvy Rest organic mattresses are designed so they can be as soft or as firm as you need. They are made with all natural latex rubber that relieves pressure points and helps maintain your spinal alignment.

Furthermore, our organic mattresses are extremely durable. They are free of synthetic chemicals and cotton-fiber-free, so they are hypo-allergenic. We use certified organic wool which acts as a natural flame retardant. Most mattresses called organic use cotton fiber, a known allergen. We prove to you the purity of our products by posting test results and organic certificates on our web site; these days most people like independent proof.

Custom Size Mattress
We make custom size mattresses for use in any situation--boats, yachts, sailboats, antique beds, size beds, day beds, RVs, and trucks. We also offer custom shapes: round, V-berths, oval, whatever. Our cutters and sewers have never made a mistake on a custom size mattress.

We cut our custom size mattresses from a regular size Tempur-Pedic® mattress or Dormia mattress or Savvy Rest organic mattress. All you need to do is to give us the size. Rectangles are easier, but we also make any curve that you can imagine. Need a bevel on your boat mattress? We do that, too.

We also offer custom size foundations (like a box spring) in any width, length, or height. Foundations can be made as rectangles only.

Memory Foam Mattress
The Versailles memory foam mattress made by Dormia is an excellent copy of the Tempur-Pedic® mattress. It is made with 5 pound memory foam, and that is the key to a durable, quality memory foam mattress. It does feel different from Tempur-Pedic®, but it is a wonderful value for the price, and it carries a 25 year warranty. Prices start at $499 for a twin size. The queen is $799.

Organic Baby Crib Mattress
Savvy Rest organic baby crib mattresses are made with 5 of pure and firm natural latex rubber. They are surrounded with certified organic wool fiber quilted to certified organic cotton fabric. Like our adult organic mattresses, our crib mattresses are cotton-fiber-free and therefore hypo-allergenic.

Bedworks Platform Beds
Bedworks platform beds use ash as the frame at the head, foot, and side of the bed. The slats are made of maple. The beds are very simple but extremely strong. All Bedworks beds can be made with a low footboard and are available in multiple finishes.
