The best place in Charlottesville for unique dog and horse themed apparel and accessories for you and your pets! T-shirts, sweaters, homemade treats, collars and leashes, designer dog beds and horse supplies, party items, spa products, home decor, stationery and cards, many unique doggie toys and much more. Items can also be special ordered for you!
In 2000 we started hand-making all-natural treats for Tyler, our german shepherd, because he wouldn't eat the store bought treats, and now sell only those treats that Tyler put his paw of approval on! Soon our line expanded to include all-natural horse treats made with shredded carrots and apples that were taste-tested by our horses, Fancy and Baron. And in 2007 we started this entire store for dogs and horses and the people who love them! For the convenience of downtown customers, we also carry a local favorite, Sammy's Snacks, all-natural dog food and treats.
We believe in supporting local craftspeople and stock locally made items, as well as recycled and fair trade items whenever possible, i.e. West Paw Design dog beds and toys made out of recycled plastic soda bottles, the ECO line of Gentle Leader harnesses, and 100% wool hand knit dog sweaters by Chilly Dog that are part of a fair trade agreement in South America, and organic cotton t-shirts for humans too!
The boutique also specializes in collars/leashes and doggie t-shirts, coats, sweaters & raincoats in the largest assortment of sizes that will fit toy-sized chihuahuas all the way up to great danes! We welcome you to bring your dog into the store for sizing, or just to visit, and they will always receive one of our complimentary home-baked treats!
