Blackstone Animal Clinic was established September 23, 2003 by Dr. Anne W. Carr.

Dr. Carr, a native of Chester, Virginia, graduated with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Virginia Tech in 1990. The clinic offers small animal medicine, including routine vaccinations and preventative medicine, as well as surgeries, grooming and boarding. All services are offered by appointment.

The clinic office is open Monday thru Friday from 8 am to 5 pm and Saturdays from 9 am to 12 noon. However the doctor will not always be available, so please call early for an available appointment time.

Please understand that Dr. Carr does not see after hours emergencies. We refer all after hour care to the Vetrinary Referral & Critical Care in Manakin-Sabot @ 804-784-8722 or Veterinary Emergency Center @ 804-744-9800(South) or 804-353-9000 (Richmond) or Animal Emergency and Critical Care of Lynchburg at 434-846-1504.
