The Ripleys have operated the Inn for 16 years and live on premises to give their personal attention to their guests' needs .

We are just minutes away from such historic Civil War sites in Central Virginia as Appomattox, the Confederate Cemetery and rose gardens and Fort Early, Colonial Jefferson's retreat home. Poplar Forest, the Blue Ridge Mountains, the Point of Honor Museum, and the new National D-Day Memorial in Bedford are also favorite attractions. We do not allow pets, but we are now the proud owners of "Jackie", a little Jack Russell puppy!
