God calls the prophet Jeremiah when he is still young. Jeremiah tries to argue with God and says, I am only a boy but God assures Jeremiah that God will be with Jeremiah as he serves God. We do not wait until we are a certain age to be servants of Jesus Christ, we all are called to mission in our communities and beyond. At CPC, we help families and kids be in mission together, giving kids opportunities to love their neighbors as God loves them.

Pastor Lynn has served as pastor at Clifton Presbyterian Church since August 1995 following pastoral positions in Vienna, Virginia, (1 year), Adelphi, Maryland (2 years) and Bethesda, Maryland (8 years). Pastor Lynns priorities in ministry include: pastoral care, preaching and teaching to invite individuals and the church into deeper growth in faith and fellowship as we wrestle with lifes deepest questions, opportunities and challenges; and engaging the congregation more deeply in mission and outreach in our community, our nation and our world.
